2nd May 2019 – The new champions are crowned

The 2019 Network Computing Awards were presented at an evening ceremony in London. Ex England cricket captain, Chris Cowdrey, was MC for the event. He was assisted in presenting the trophies by talented impressionist, Kevin Connelly, as well as by Ray Smyth and Dave Bonner of Network Computing.

The Bench Tested Product of the Year is open to all solutions which have been independently reviewed for Network Computing and is judged by Network Computing’s Editor, Ray Smyth. Try as he might, Ray could not split two of the solutions in contention so therefore named Endace and Nozomi Networks as joint winners.

Silver Peak Systems won the Network Project of the Year Private sector for its work with Mazars. iTrinegy’s work for the Land Systems Reference Centre was recognised with the Network Project of the Year Public Sector. In the voting categories, NBM Technology Solutions became the new Distributor of the Year and the Excell Group became the Reseller of the Year. Proficio became the first winners of the Cloud Delivered Security Solution of the Year and webCRM won the highly sought-after Customer Service Award. The Company of the Year award was won by Allied Telesis, a long-established supplier which offers a wide range of solutions. It was the company’s third award of the night.
