Rik Ferguson, Vice President Security Research

Rik Ferguson, Vice President S ecurity Research at Trend Micro, is one of the leading experts in information security. He is also a Special Advisor to Europol EC3, and a project leader with the International Cyber Security Protection Alliance (ICSPA ). In April 2011 Rik was inducted into the Infosecurity Hall of Fame.

As a presenter at global industry events such as RSA, Mobile World Congress, Milken Institute, Virus Bulletin, RUSI and the - Crime Congress, Rik addresses the challenges posed by emerging technology and online crime . He is frequently interviewed by the BBC, CNN, CNBC, Channel 4, Sky News and Al - Jazeera English and is quoted by national newspapers and trade publications throughout the world.

Rik is actively engaged in research into online threats and the underground economy. He also researches the wider implications of new developments in the Information Technology arena and their impact on security, both in the enterprise and for society as a whole, publishing papers, articles, videos and participating in thought - leadership initiatives

With almost twenty - five years’ experience in information security, Rik has been with Trend Micro since 2007. Prior to assuming his current role he served as Security & Privacy Infrastructure Specialist at EDS where he led the security design work for government projects related to justice and law enforcement and as Senior Product Engineer at McAfee focused on network security, intrusion prevention, encryption and content filtering.


Michael Fimin, CEO and Co-Founder of Netwrix

Michael Fimin is the accomplished expert in information security. Michael joined Netwrix Corporation in 2007, bringing more than a decade of IT industry experience, management practices and innovation. Prior to joining Netwrix, Michael held several key positions at Aelita Software (later acquired by Quest Software), driving the company's top-selling security and compliance product. Michael lives in Monarch Beach, California.


Reuven Harrison, CTO & Co-Founder

Reuven Harrison is CTO and Co-Founder of Tufin. He led all development efforts during the company’s initial fast-paced growth period, and is focused on Tufin’s product leadership. Reuven is responsible for the company’s future vision, product innovation and market strategy. Under Reuven’s leadership, Tufin’s products have received numerous technology awards and wide industry recognition.

Reuven brings more than 20 years of software development experience, holding two key senior developer positions at Check Point Software, as well other key positions at Capsule Technologies and ECS. He received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Tel Aviv University.


Andy Hirst IEng, MIET, CDCDP, ATD

Technical Director, Sudlows
With over 25 years’ design and management experience in the electrical industry, Andy has been instrumental in leading the transformation of Sudlows from a £2million data cabling company to an award winning £48million critical infrastructure provider.
Andy is often in demand by both press and industry conferences to offer his opinion and views on Key critical infrastructure topics.
After initially joining Sudlows to relaunch the electrical division, Andy become a Board Director and works closely with his fellow directors to define the growth strategy and commercial direction of the business.
Andy’s critical contribution has ensured that strategic growth is planned and controlled with significant investment in sourcing a high standard of engineers and designers in all disciplines around the data centre environment.
Andy is a key figure within the critical infrastructure industry and has collected several awards for his technical work.


Danny Kindell

Danny has 20 years experience in the specialist sales, supply and distribution of structured cabling, IP security and converged IP architecture. In business, Danny cares passionately about two things; outstanding employee satisfaction and world class customer service. He strongly believes the former drives the latter, and he strives to motivate his team at NBM to deliver outstanding levels of service to help customers to achieve their goals.

Random fact: Prior to joining NBM, Danny was awarded a 4 year Soccer scholarship at the University of Hartford, Connecticut, USA, to play NCAA Division 1 Soccer.


Ian Moyse

Ian Moyse has been a leader in IT sector for many years and for the past 12 years has led teams in the Cloud Sector. He has sat on the Boards of industry bodies Eurocloud, FAST and the Cloud Industry Forum. He has been a director at numerous cloud vendors, board advisor to others and today is residing at Natterbox, a cloud telephony provider. Ian is a judge on the UK Cloud Awards, Women in Sales Awards and BESMA Awards and has been rated #1 Global SaaS influencer (Klout) and #1 cloud Social influencer from 2015-2017 (Onalytica). He is recognised as a leading cloud Blogger and was listed in the EMEA top 50 influencers in Data Centres, Cloud & Data 2017. Farhad Reyazat, PhD

Farhad Reyazat (PhD in Risk Management) is a serial entrepreneur, investor and an academic lecturer. He is a founder and chairman of number of businesses including Smarty Software, B&F Services, Zebra Capital , Global Risk Management Group and Maison Vie. He is also an active investor in the UK based start-ups including The Market Mogul, York Cocoa House, Academy of Robotics, Plum Fintech and many more.

Farhad was awarded his B.A. and M.S in Finance studies and went on to achieve his PhD in Risk Management from Southampton University after completing training courses in London Business School. Farhad has had over 15 years of experience in corporate banking where he played an important role including Chairman of a few investment and leasing companies in Europe & Middle East. His interest includes small business, technology, risk management, network theory in finance, theory of ultra-small world of banking, operational risk, systemic risk, risk modelling.


Gil Shwed, Founder and CEO

Gil Shwed is the founder, and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Shwed is considered the inventor of the modern firewall and authored several patents, such as the company’s Stateful Inspection technology. Mr. Shwed has received numerous accolades for his individual achievements and industry contributions, including an honorary Doctor of Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, an honorary Doctor of Science from Tel Aviv University, the World Economic Forum’s Global Leader for Tomorrow for his commitment to public affairs and leadership in areas beyond immediate professional interests, and the Academy of Achievement’s Golden Plate Award for his innovative contribution to business and technology. Mr. Shwed is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Youth University of Tel Aviv University. Mr. Shwed is a Tel Aviv University Governor and founder of the University’s Check Point Institute for Information Security. He is also Chairman of the Board of directors of Yeholot Association Founded by the Rashi Foundation whose charter is, among other things, to reduce the dropout rates in high schools.
