passport Data communications company Multi-Tech has announced a ProxyServer which has been specifically designed for small to medium- sized companies that are seeking to provide Internet access and email to all users on a network. The three-serial port Proxy- Server (MTPSR3-100) allows all users on a 10BaseT Ethernet LAN to share three ISP accounts by connecting to just three existing external modems or ISDN TAs. Multi-Tech’s three-serial port Proxy- Server works with a company's network and avoids the need to buy additional expensive router hardware, says Multi-Tech, adding that installation and configuration takes minutes, with external modems or ISDN TAs plugged into the three serial ports and the ProxyServer connected to the LAN via an Ethernet port. |
