IP router promises greater network control

Network connectivity specialist Ringdale has launched a new slim-line IP Router x 4, a rack-mountable, network device for greater control and efficiency of an Ethernet network. Ringdale’s IP Router x 4 incorporates four independent and manageable IP routers within a single unit. This space-saving device can be mounted in an industry-standard 19-inch rack, to make installation easy and avoiding unnecessary cabling. With its own internal power supply and low power requirement, the IP Router x 4 is said to be cost effective to run. Routers allow networks to be split up into smaller, more manageable, network segments, which helps to reduce the volume of broadcast network traffic. Ringdale’s IP Router x 4 enables IP packets to be sent from a network or sub-network to another either on a LAN or WAN and across the Internet, should it be required.
